Last year, they lost to Air Force, which sent them spiraling to 8 losses in a row. Their team is way better this year * and coaches careers are built or destroyed by their response to adversity. Craig Neal allowed himself to be "demoralized" - not his team - by what was, in hindsight, a bad call at SDSU. Let's see if he can pull the crew together and get everybody rowing in the same direction to avoid another devastating streak.
* Tim Williams is a tough, strong kid with an equally strong game. Elijah Brown is Newcomer of the Year in our conference (if it's not Williams). We shut down Cullen Neal, but we shut down a lot of good players; he's a decent leader, and his injury was a key to their collapse last year.
