Newport Beach-Newport Harbor (by way of Long Beach) receiver Jordan Anderson visited San Diego State over the weekend, and the Aztecs are in play for his commitment as he continues to move through the process. His plan is to sign this week, and Oregon State is the other top competition as it stands now. Anderson had been committed to the Ducks for nearly a year before backing away from that pledge earlier this month.

Rivals national recruiting director Adam Gorney spoke with Anderson about his visit to The Mesa and where thing stand heading into Signing Day.

Late last night/early Tuesday morning, San Diego State landed a commitment from one of its top remaining 2024 targets in four-star cornerback Jason Mitchell II. The versatile defensive back from St. John Bosco in Bellflower held offers from many of the top programs across the country but took an official visit to SDSU over the weekend.

Now, he's the highest-rated high school commitment for the Aztecs since 2021 and just the second four-star addition since 2015 when the program landed Kyahva Tezino and Desean Holmes. He's the highest-rated cornerback commitment since 2002.
Just a huge addition for the program and new head coach Sean Lewis.

Sean Lewis landed his top target Wednesday as high three-star quarterback and former Colorado commit Danny O'Neil announced his pledge to the Aztecs after visiting SDSU over the weekend. The 6-foot-1 prospect from Indianapolis-Cathedral was an Elite 11 finalist this summer and has accounted for over 9,100 yards and 125 touchdowns in his career. He's the highest-rated member of the team's 2024 class now and is the highest-rated high school quarterback to commit to the Aztecs since 2011.

San Diego State head coach Brady Hoke is out after announcing his retirement Monday. He will coach the Aztecs in their final two games this season before calling it a career. Hoke currently holds a 39-31 record as SDSU's head coach but the team has struggled this season in a variety of ways on both sides of the ball. The Aztecs currently are 1-5 in MWC play and have just three wins this year.

San Diego State quarterback Jalen Mayden had a career day becoming the new Aztecs quarterback rushing leader in a game with 132 yards on the ground Saturday against Idaho State. Here's a look back at win No. 2 for Brady Hoke's squad.

Here's a recap of today's 20-13 win for SDSU over Ohio. It was a big day for tight end Mark Redman, who had a pair of touchdown catches, and the defense that ended the day with three interceptions against the Bobcats.

Rivals replacement for football and basketball

Finally cancelled my sub. It was great interacting with other fans, alumni, and boosters, even if we didn't always agree.

That said, Rivals and the people running this site are garbage and they should be required to refund everyone for the last year. Here's to a long and expensive lawsuit that costs them more than they ever made off of SDSU fans.
