It was reported that Calvin Munson and Trey Lomax were going to join the baseball team.

Both tried out and went through meetings, but only Munson will be on the active roster as a pitcher. Lomax, a former All-CIF player who hasn't been on the diamond in over two years, did not make it but will probably try out again next year. Lomax not making it makes sense considering it's probably harder to perform in the batter's box than it is on the pitcher's mound after a two year hiatus with football

The starting NT tweeted recently that he is still in his boot but is no longer required to get around on a scooter. I definitely still expect Barrett to miss spring ball but him finally being able to lose the boot is a positive sign in regards to his progress and rehab.

He also sent out this video clip of exactly when the foot injury happened last season.

I have now read 2 different articles where Cage is asked who is pursuing him the most and he has named 6 different schools, none of which are SDSU. That is really really surprising to me. What are your thoughts Ruben. From what he has recently said, I am sensing we have lost a lot of ground with him and that he has gone from a probable to an unlikely commit.

A pretty good wide receiver from Manville Texas left the Aggie's.would sit one year have two to play. Wonder if there is mutual interest. He was a four star coming out of high school

Are going to be playing baseball this year. They're practicing with the team now and may play a couple early games. During spring ball they're all football, but afterwards they're going back to baseball.

Hey, I'm on the road checking in on prospects in the St. Louis area and got the news about Keith Smith committing to San Diego State while checking out the Dayton/St. Louis college game.

Anyway, made it back to the hotel and wanted to stop by real quick.

Smith was put where he is in the rankings after a very impressive spring prior to injuring himself. He looked like a good sized wing (6-6, maybe 6-7) with a great frame and some explosion to him. Can rebound, plays well in transition and keeps defenders honest with his jumper.

He is also somebody that I feel I need to see more of to have a true evaluation on him. Lots has probably changed since coming back from injury and the jump from sophomore to junior is usually big for most prospects. Hope to have some updated game film on him soon and at worst I should be seeing him again by the first live period in April.

Based on everything I know up until now, this looks like a really nice score for the Aztecs and I'm sure they are happy to have gotten him done before everybody else jumped in after April.

any truth to the rumors that Keith Smith has committed to SDSU to play basketball? there is nothing on Rivals or ESPN that confirms this.

Hearing it's 50-50 between BYU and SDSU for Dayan Lake. I'm giving BYU a little bit of an edge because it was his last visit and he seemed like he had fun as he was a long-time commit to the Cougs for quite some time as well.

Still, Tony White has been on him hard for a few weeks now and I'm hearing JJ Whittaker did a great job as his host. Will post more here as I gather info.

It's being reported by multiple outlets that Larry Nance Jr. is not traveling with the Wyoming team to San Diego and will miss the game Wednesday (mono). Air Force blew out Wyo this past weekend without Nance.

I see he has abandoned Hawaii. What are the odds of him visiting our AZTECS!!

If you can make it, it's pretty interesting. I went last year to check out the teams and it doesn't really matter what position guys played in college, they work out for whatever they think they can do in the pros. I remember seeing a TE for UH wrap up his drills then jump in w/ the DE for the hell of it and he impressed some scouts.

UCLA DC and LB coach Ulbrich just took a job with a Falcons. Doubt UCLA looks at Rocky but wouldn't be surprised if Tony White gets another call or interview.

Since Lessard was so underwraps, we don't really know much about him, but where do you think he ends up? Is he a true inside LB or a edgerusher type?
