-Marcus Stamps has what looks like a full legged brace on his left leg.
-Ryan Krum also appears to have injured his left knee. He was using a scooter.

Do you think it is possible since OL seems fine and NT is a bit light? I do think Phillips was effective last year on the DL and lost a year this year basically backing up... Seems like an asset and was getting better every week...

Rocky Long said doctors believe Maxwell Smith tore his ACL and Christian Heyward did the same to his ACL/MCL. Same injury as Dakota Turner.

Marcus Stamps had a simalar strain which looked like a torn MCL but Long said the doctors weren't sure before MRI results.

They are sure about Smith and Heyward.

He also said the low hits were legal.

do we get TV bonus $ for playing on TV or does MWC give bonus to us and Air Force at all?

I never understood why we don't play Fresno the last week of the season, or why UNLV and Nevada or Wyoming and CSU don't play this week.

Even if SDSU beat South Alabama, they still wouldn't be a top-25 team. The conference was bad but the west division was even worse.

Spoke with Anthony at the ticket office. They have not made a decision yet as to move the USD game. The decision will be made after Saturday's football games.

Season ticket holders will have Sunday and Monday before the general public to get football championship tickets if it's here in San Diego and the basketball game will be moved. If the CCG is in Air Force, season ticket holders can get tickets on Sunday and Monday again and they will make a decision by Sunday whether or not the basketball game will be moved.

If the Spartans pull off the upset, UNM's win over Boise St won't look as strong in the computers. This would mean Air Fore would likely fall behind SDSU in the polls if UNM can upset the Falcons at home tomorrow and the Aztecs defeat Nevada.

It still may be a close race in the composite scores even if AFA loses to Air Force and SDSU beats UNR. A SJSU win today would likely guarantee SDSU as the host if this scenario played out.

"I think we deserve to be the host team," Long said. "But if we're not, that's OK. We'll go try to win the championship wherever it is.

"I'm basing that on we're 8-0 in conference and [AFA] is 6-2 in conference. The computer can do whatever it wants with that but if the computer goes the other way than the computer is wrong."

I wonder if a loss today would bring Cal out of the Top-25. That won't help SDSU very much if that happens.

We should all be rooting pretty heavily for USU in this game right? We need to make BYU less desirable for the Vegas bowl.

Keep noticing on the football commit list some names are in red others in black. We appear to be up to 5 in black. Are the black names becoming soft commits? We've had other commits in black who are now not on the list at all. Any real significance to red and black type?

Anyone seen him in an Aztec basketball game lately? We need him to play like a 5 star.

Here at the Orleans Arena. It looks like fans will get to sit wherever they please pretty much. Not that many people here right now but I expect the numbers to rise a bit as we near game time. That said, from what I saw of the other games here on TV, it should be a very light crowd.

There is also a nice handful of NBA scouts with seats to be here court side too.

It seems many of our recruits are playing in JC Bowl games on December the 5th. Obviously they would not be open to visit that week anyway. Maybe Dec 12th we will have some of them in. It looks like we are ranging pretty far with JC recruiting all the way to Gulf Coast College and up to New York ASA etc.. I have not looked but I suspect many of the guys on the East Coast are Texas high school guys.

6-9 freshman Cheick Diallo has been cleared to play for Kansas starting Dec. 1. Was rated 5 stars and no. 5 overall in last year's recruiting cycle by Rivals.

Nevada blew an early 14-0 lead against Utah State last week.

Early line showed them as an 18 point favorite, then it suddenly dropped to a 14 point opening line, climbed back to 18 points and has settled at 17 points today. Very strange line jumps.

Air Force has dropped from an opening line of 10.5 to 9.5.

Ruben do you know how do the other polls show New Mexico and Nevada? Sagarin has Nevada ranked numerically higher than New Mexico by 3 points. If Nevada is seen as better, than SDSU might get a small boost from winning against a better opponent.

Hope I'm wrong but expecting UCLA
