It seems like we play every receiver on the team. They seemed to be put out there in packages. I just don't get the substitutions of so many different combinations. If it were up to me, we would stick with Judge, Holder & I would move Penny over to that group as well.

DJ hasn't been available much to reporters this season but he has been doing some radio interviews, and on 1090 last night he said he intends to return for his senior year. It's not too surprising but still worth noting. I think the kid just really wants to break Marshall's record.

Dezmon Patmon who's team has a bye week this Friday, meaning he would be able to attend Friday's game vs. Utah State, is officially visiting Boise State this weekend. His first official.

Just wanted to point out again that Price came up huge tonight when Pumphrey went down. SDSU ran away with the win handedly thanks to him. Could have been a tighter game near the end there.

Remember, he cost the team a ton of momentum in the South Alabama game when he fumbled it before the half. He was really down on himself after that, and he didn't get many carries in the Penn State game either because of it. He wasn't on pace to have many carries tonight either (he had just two carries in the first half) prior to Pumphrey's injury, but once his number was called he consistently got five yard gains.

-Jake Fely's getting checked up right now but the belief is it's nothing but a neck stinger.

Fely went back on the field a series later but the staff eventually pulled him for precautionary reasons. He also felt tentative when playing with the stinger.

It's a shortened week so that's one day sooner that Fely will have to fully pratice if he wants to play on Saturday, but if he at least shows that he's comfortable running around with limited practice reps, the staff will likely play him vs. Utah State.

-Warrior safety Trey Lomax practiced last week and told the staff he was at 80 percent. He'll practice fully this week but it's still unknown if he will play. Kameron Kelly is currently slated to get the start.

Along with earning the RG starting spot, Darrell Greene will be the team's backup center. If Flores gets hurt, Greene will move over to center and Craighead will play RG.

Just a quick check of on line betting and San Jose State is favored anywhere from 2 to 8 points. I have a good feeling about this game. Will just have to see how it goes!
