For those curious about the o-line class, I confirmed today that 2017 signee Delon Jemmott is now enrolled and on scholarship after a gray shirt year. Jemott played at a tiny private school in Riverside and was very raw but his upside is solid. He's another international player for the coaches to mold.

I have been watching mock drafts for the past month and as more and more sites add their additional rounds NO ONE is projecting Penny in the first 4 rounds. I am at an utter loss for words with this. Is he being labeled a "system" guy? Are there seriously that many questions about his speed??? I really think before the season he was a 3rd/4th round guy but after the season and the pro bowl I see him as a solid 2nd rounder. Thoughts on why he is being uber snubbed?

Panthers hired Brady Hoke as defensive line coach.

This is Hoke's first job in the NFL after decades spent at the college level. He's known for helping to recruit Tom Brady to play at Michigan and later becoming the head coach in 2011. He spent the past year as the defensive line and interim head coach at Tennessee. Hoke replaces Eric Washington in Carolina, who was promoted to defensive coordinator following Steve Wilks' departure.

Oddsmakers have UNLV as a 1 pt favorite. Typical UNLV, overrated stars but SDSU has a deeper roster. UNLV plays no defense but for once not sure Aztecs do either. Any talk of McCoy being POY is dead but fully expect UNLV to feed him, especially if Montana is getting lot of mins.

So far, I only see the Minnesota linebacker, Antonio Montero lined up for a visit.

O.k. it's that time to call a spade a spade or if it quacks it's a duck etc.......... We have loss three winnable games in a row basically the same way. This team is devoid of leadership bench an floor so players sometime play for the team then don't. The coach has committed to his seniors come hell or high water and I believe this has caused some lack of team identity or an attitude of I don't care etc. I hear from the coach all players earn there floor time but isn't how you play within the team matter? I always told my guys that "PLAYERS PLAY AN COACHES COACH" ! Some players on this team are getting tons of time w/O playing an others when they get time make the most of it like Narain, Schakel, McDaniels. I for one say let's play the guys who r playing regardless of class the rest of the season and c how we end up. There's a Jr guard who doesn't play Aztec defense and now his scoring
is almost nothing an still plays. My point is this team doesn't have and identity it can hang its hat on an losing these close games will ruin the already thin: " one for all an one for the team dynamic". GO AZTECS!!

I noticed on Twitter that former SDSU grayshirt (at least I believe he was a grayshirt) and current Southwestern College player DE Steven Mason (6'8 and 250 lbs) has been offered by Boise State. In 6 games playing time, he made 14 solo tackles, 8 assisted tackles, and 4.5 sacks.

Any idea if SDSU still had any interest in him after he went the Juco route? It would appear no, but what do I know. Also has an Idaho offer and is visiting UCLA tomorrow

Still no major changes in the starting unit (including Kell) after the losses but SDSU leads 10-7 early.

Aztecs are 8 pt favorites. Fresno's most impressive OOC win was vs. Long Beach State from a horribly weak schedule. Don't let the 13-6 record fool you. This isn't the same team SDSU has faced last couple of years. Have to thump them.

Let's see if Utah State can upset Boise on the road tonight.

Nevada is gonna KILL SJSU.

Hello gents! Reminder that our casual meet and greet is confirmed tomorrow at Luce on Morena (1959 Morena Blvd.) We will be watching the SDSUvUNM game which starts at 4p. 5-star F Taeshon Cherry decommits from USC, according to 247Sports (and his twitter page, which no longer is filled with USC associations under his profile). SDSU was among his previous finalists, but think that was lip service.

Hey guys, I know we're all die hard fans as evidenced by our involvement with this site. I know a few folks have mentioned this in the past but I'd love to put some faces to these names (usernames). I'd be open to putting together a "happy hour" at some point soon? Let me know if any of y'all are interested and we'll kick around some dates. Just think it would be neat to meet other true die hards like myself. I'd also bring some of my other buddies that are ex football players to mix in.

As a fan of college football, I limit some of my criticism of the young players, because we are not living under the same microscope that they are.
Hopefully, this is not because he was the quarterback for Washington State in their loss to Michigan State at the Holiday Bowl, which dropped WSU out of the top 25.

I wonder who SDSU calls on to defend Chandler Hutchinson. Mitchell gets too many foul calls so a combination of Pope/McDaniels seems likely.

Really like this offer as he's just a pure scorer and developing leader. All he needs to do is keep growing. He's also a local kid that SDSU has a fairly good shot at rather than a "lock" to be a national prospect like others in the past few years (Leaf, Hands, McCoy, Ayton).
