I'm hearing that Rocky gave the coaching staff time off until Jan. 7th, which means he most likely will be out of his office until then, too. Obviously he will be making and taking calls from coaching candidates until he finds one but I don't expect an addition to be made until at least mid-January. The only scenario where I can see it happening sooner would be if Jeff Horton gets the job, but I'm sure there are rules and even laws when it comes to the interviewing process for coaches at public universities. I'll provide names as soon as I get them, but there shouldn't be anything substantial until Long (most likely) gets back in his office, discusses possibilities with Sterk etc.
SDSU will have recruits in on the 16th, 23 and last weekend before signing day so finding an OC the sooner the better. Particularly, it will give opposing schools less time to negative recruit SDSU's offensive commits/recruits like Juwan Washington, Jack Bailey etc.
