The Lobos will start Coltin Gerhart, Toby Gerhart's youngest brother, at QB.
Coltin played HS ball at Norco for his HC dad and then after the dad was fired, he transferred to Temecula Valley. From watching his HS video and much of what he did in the second half last Saturday against Utah State, the kid can throw the ball a bit but although he ran a RPO offense in HS, his speed is akin to his brother's and for those who might have forgotten, his brother played FB. Accordingly, in my view there will be absolutely no excuse for our defense not to fly around and stuff him like a Thanksgiving turkey.
