Max has caught some heat from fans lately for bad play and his benching. We know what happened on the benching and it appears it was warranted.
Now lets take a look at what we have with Max Montana. I hope most not only realize that Max had a real good game vs CSU but it was more than that.
His shooting was phenomenal. I'm not talking his percentage, I'm talking about the shots themselves. When you have a guy who can hit open 3 like he did AND come off of screens like he did and hit 3's you have something real special. Watching Montana play vs CSU was a real eye opener for me.
If Max Montana can play anywhere near what he did the rest of the season we are going to be ok. (OK as finishing in the Top 3 in conf, making at least the NIT, and having a shot to win the MWC tourney)
