He's so focused on improvement that he may be the guy who can remain in the present even though he sees the big pay-off in the future.
The fact that he wasn't named to the pre-season MWC all-star team would hopefully provide extra kindle for the fire. The Nevada frontline is impressive, but they don't possess Jalen's upside.
