And it's not a home and home. (Also worth noting that LeCharls McDaniel is now coaching at USD).

Here's the press release:

"San Diego State to Open 2015 Football Season against USD[/B]
Aztecs will face USD on the gridiron for the first time since 1961[/I]

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State athletic department announced today that it has completed its 2015 football schedule with an additional home game against the University on San Diego on Sept. 5. Game time for the Aztecs' season opener at Qualcomm Stadium will be determined at a later date.
The gridiron matchup will mark just the second meeting ever between San Diego State and USD. On Nov. 18, 1961, the Aztecs registered a 42-12 triumph over the Toreros in Don Coryell's first year as head coach.
SDSU will have four non-conference games on the docket for the upcoming football season. In addition to facing USD, the Aztecs will play at California (Sept. 12), at home against South Alabama (Sept. 19) and at Penn State (Sept. 26). Two of those teams (South Alabama and Penn State) participated in a bowl game last year and a third qualified for the NCAA FCS playoffs (San Diego).
With the completion of its 12-game schedule, San Diego State now has six home contests for the 2015 campaign. In addition to games against San Diego and South Alabama, the Aztecs will battle Mountain West opponents Fresno State, Utah State, Wyoming and Nevada.
The Bulldogs (Sheraton Hawaii Bowl), the Aggies (Gildan New Mexico) and the Wolf Pack (R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl) all participated in bowl games in 2014. In all, five of SDSU's six home opponents advanced to postseason play last season.
The Aztecs, who are one of 27 schools to play in a bowl game each of the last five seasons and one of just three from the "Group of 5" conferences, finished 2014 with a 7-6 record and 5-3 in MW play. SDSU returns eight starters on a defense that finished the year ranked 10th in passing, 13th in scoring, 16th in total and 19th in pass efficiency, as well as running back Donnel Pumphrey, who rushed for a school-record 1,867 yards and 20 touchdowns as a true sophomore, on offense.
San Diego State is coming off a school-record fifth consecutive bowl appearance and was one of just four schools in 2014 to post a winning record in which every victory came by at least 10 points (Arkansas, Miami (Fla.) and Rice).
Deposits for new season tickets are currently underway and can be secured by calling the Aztec Ticket Office at (619) 283-7378 or online at GoAztecs.com.
