It looks as though the NCAA will vote to let players play up to four games in a season and not lose their redshirt year. That will be voted on in June, the reason being that we only have 85 scholarships now and injuries are making it necessary to burn quite a few players redshirt year when the only play third or half the season. So that will increase the likelihood we will get to see some of our better recruits on the field this year at the end of the season. They are also hashing out some rules about graduate transfers and whether the school should be required to pay the second year of the graduate program. I think that's a good idea but not the idea that it should count against their player limit.
One thing I would like to see the schools to be able to scrimmage against each other before the season but that's not likely.
