-Dwayne Johnson Jr. is now listed as the backup Aztec safety.
Before Saturday, Will Stricklin and Johnson were listed as the backup Aztec safeties behind Parker Baldwin (even though it's really Trey Lomax, which Trenton Thompson would move up to Lomax's warrior spot in that case).
Side note: Rewatching the game, Stricklin as expected was a human missile on special teams. He was wiping out the lead blocks on kickoff returns. Him and Tariq Thompson are the best pound for pound hitters for sure.
-Parker Houston practiced and looked fine. He tweaked his ankle during the game but he's good.
-Safety Dwayne Parchment did not play in the first game at all. Parchment suffered an injury "behind his knee" during practice last week. Still not sure how severe it is.
