Just spoke with his mother who accompanied him during both the official visits (Hawaii and San Diego State). She confirmed Holmes did leave his SDSU visit early because she had a work meeting she had to get to but he still was able to see a lot of what the program had to offer. The only parts of the visit he missed were the SDSU-Utah St. basketball game and the Saturday dinner with the coaches.
He really liked SDSU's campus, but he apparently loved everything about Hawaii and that coaching staff. I think the mom would prefer for him to stay closer to home though.
Holmes still hasn't made a decision and will be thinking about it all night and tomorrow morning, according to his mom.
He will announce between Hawaii and San Diego State tomorrow during Fox Sports West's signing day show held near the Staples Center. The announcement should happen around 10:30 AM, but I need to look into that more to confirm it.
