Maxwell Smith has a torn MCL not ACL (Rocky misspoke and said he's too old to remember those things). Smith actually told the staff he may try to play in a bowl game and wait to have surgery after the game. Doctors said it would be fine because you can't tear it anymore anyway. He would play with a brace on his left knee.
