I recently had a chance to catch up with Aztecs QB target Kenyon Oblad to talk recruiting. It's clear SDSU is in the mix here, but it also seems like he's waiting to see who else offers.
Here's a portion of our conversation:
On SDSU: “They really want me. They just talk about how they’ve been recruiting me since I was a freshman and they’ve always had that faith in me. That’s a big thing for me because right now they are only four schools that have offered so they do believe in me but SDSU has been believing in me since my sophomore year so that goes a long way.”
On his last visit to SDSU: “I went down there a month ago to watch their spring scrimmage. I got to see the coaches in action and see how they work with the guys and I got to sit in on a meeting with the offensive coordinator. I liked it a lot, I liked how he coached and taught his quarterback.”
