Willauer-Contributing Writer-Vista High School-Vista, CA-Thursday, December 9, 2016-The Rancho Bernardo Broncos after trailing 18-14 after 7 bouts went ahead on 25-18 and defeated the Vista Panthers on their home floor by a 36-27 score without their star wrestler Chasen Blair will be competing in the Ironman Wrestling Tournament on the facilities of Walsh Jesuit High School in Cleveland, Ohio.

    The match started at 103 pounds where the Broncos Gavin Concepcion recorded a 5-2 win over Killen Perigon as RB led 3-0. In the next 2 bouts at 113, Vista's Joshua Sellers recorded a forfeit along with Dylan Ard's fall over at 3:17 over Nick Seidenburg put the Panthers up 12-3.

    In the 126 pound weight class, Jaden Le's tech fall at 3:35 over Matthew Le, Patrick Kennedy's 9-7 win over Conrad Giles at 132 put the Broncos within 1 at 12-11. In the 138 pound weight class Jovani Venegas 1:53 second fall over Tyler Crowe put the Panthers up 18-11.

    In the next three weight classes Rancho Bernardo came on as they went ahead on 25-18 at 145, the Broncos Tyler Badget led 5-2 after 2 periods and was taken down and defeated Vista's Dan Medrano 5-4, at 145 at 152, Chaz Franchina recorded a 18-3 tech fall win over Vista's Dominic McClintic, at 160 Eric Salcedo's 3:42 pin over Vista's Johnny Miller put the Broncos up 25-18

    In the 170 pound catetory Vista's Elijah Davis recorded a 7-3 decision over Colin Murphy put the Panthers within 25-21 before Rancho Bernardo's Godfrey Lozado's major decision win over Amadora James at 182, True Stewart's 19-7 major decision win over Nate Miller and Ryan Olivas close 10-8 decision over Cris Crawford put the Broncos up 36-21 before Nathan Ledesma's fall over Damien Evans at heavyweight made the final score 36-27
